I got an email from LCFC about the hospitality packages and noticed that it lists the category of each match - thought I'd share it with you all:

Platinum fixtures (Category A) - ARSENAL, MANCHESTER UNITED, LIVERPOOL, MANCHESTER CITY, TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR, CHELSEA.

Gold Fixtures (Category B) - EVERTON, WEST BROMWICH ALBION, SUNDERLAND, ASTON VILLA, STOKE CITY, WEST HAM UNITED, SWANSEA CITY, NEWCASTLE UNITED, SOUTHAMPTON, QUEENS PARK RANGERS.

Fan Fixtures (Category C) - BURNLEY, CRYSTAL PALACE, HULL CITY.

All makes sense apart from the Dramas - not sure why they are allocated gold status. Unless we are making a donation to the Darby and Jones clubs.

Well, they were only ever going to give us three Fan Fixtures. Burnley, Hull and Palace are among the smallest clubs ever to compete in the Prem, so QPR get pushed up by default.

Should be putting the likes of QPR, Stoke, WBA and West Ham in the lowest category in my opinion. Anything that basically looks like it could be a Championship game.

It may be down to pricing of tickets for your fans when it comes to playing sides as well. I'd expect you to be a Cat C for us, which would mean £16 tickets. QPR I'd expect to be charging you a lot more so maybe it's a case of returning the favour of cheap tickets to us and not cheap tickets or them.

Unless there's a particular reason, it does seem odd that Swansea are a higher category than us, they don't really take that many away fans unless things have changed so encouraging them with cheap tickets would be a good idea.

I would expect all premier league sides to sell their allocation tbh but of like you say someone like Swansea don't, we'd not worry about selling them cheaply to encourage them as we'd most likely condense the away end in to sell more home tickets as we did towards the end of last season when there was more demand
