The 2013/14 Christmas and New Year programme will include matches on Saturday 21st December and Sunday 29th December, as well as Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
Would be nice to start with a home game. Been many years since we were at home first but i guess the balloon festival and policing in the area usually has something to do with it
Doesn't the Balloon festival start later than the start of the season this year so unless we get a home fixture first it will be 3 weeks into the season before we get one. Just looked it up to be sure Football season 3rd August and the People with the bigger Balls 8th August
we started at home in the 2011/12 season and the 2010/11 season at home, we lost both those games 3-0 it's bad luck for us starting our season at home, Preston away would be the perfect opening to the season
I think we will start at home or our first 2 or 3 games would all be away this would be down to Avon and Somerset Plod who say they couldn't Police the Hooligans at the Balloon Festival as well as Potential Hooligans at the Gate however they can Manage to Police the Potential Hooligans at the Mem while the Festival is on because there are so much fewer of them.
Nah Hawky - they'll struggle and likely go down this year. Just an opinion. I'm looking forward to that first fixture being at Man Utd only because we wont have to wear that proposed new home kit of ours - have you seen it? Better with the blacks shorts now though like last season, but the shirt design is dire.
Yes seen it but lots of your fellow CCFC fans seem happy to be in Red looking through the rumour sites all the ones that used to have blue as part of their names are now red. Red Smoke Redbird etc.
I don't think Swansea will go down next season, but I also don't think you lot will. You are a capital city who will attract the foreign players, you have the money. I know a lot of people are tipping you to go down, but got a feeling you will shock a few. Stoke will go down along with Palarse and possibly a shock candidate.
I hope Swansea don't go down but European football might be a distraction for them I hope not though.
