The Palace match has been moved to the Sunday 1.30pm ko live on Sky.
Also the Swansea game has been moved to Sunday 25th Aug 4pm ko.
Tradition has really gone out of the window, there is nothing like first game of the season at 3 o'clock Saturday.

Also posted this on the Palace match thread.

I have to attend a wedding on 17 August and have been told under no cirumstances can I go to the room to watch MOTD, so this has worked in my favour. However, the Swansea game has made this evening very awkward. I thought the bank holiday was a week later and therefore promised to take the other half away. When she told me the actual bank holiday dates I was thinking the worst. I finally convinced her that leaving Saturday night and avoiding the Friday night rush would make sense anyway as we both have taken the Tuesday off. My work colleague announced that the fixutures changes were out and I joked about the Spurs/Swansea game being moved to a Sunday and my grovelling would amount to nothing. Guess what <steam>!

Well.... The last time I saw them there was a lot of anti-Redknapp talk. Always fun when you have Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs in the same room talking football <laugh>
