We have now been linked with QPR defender Fitz Hall, he will be a free agent next month. I think he is a Wes Morgan type of defender so i reckon Nigel wants him to replace Sol Bamba. Me personally i think there is better players out there then Fitz Hall, we all know Nigel wants James Chester but weather we can get him is another thing. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/leicester-weighing-up-a-move-for-qprs-848690
About time we got linked with some midfielders me thinks, how many defenders do we need? Even guessing some may leave I'm assuming they're on pretty good contracts and may not want to even if they don't play.
He is a centre half
Exactly, we are getting linked with centre halfs left right and centre, gimme midfielders that's what we need.
Exactly, we are getting linked with centre halfs left right and centre, gimme midfielders that's what we need.
With Danns, Wellens, Drinkwater, King and James we need to get rid of some before we sign more. With the Nicky Shorey story it says Nigel needs to sell before he can bring him in. Wellens is going to be hard to shift now with his injury and the rest all have a future here Maybe Nigel wont sign anyone else until he gets rid. Although some of rumoured to be leaving or are very likely to leave we have alot of players in every position. Matt Mills is still here and Ritchie De Laet has signed. Jermaine Beckford is still here and we have signed Jamie Vardy.
Many teams want James Chester, but no teams are going to get him. The only team he will be playing for next season is Hull City
Charlie, I seem to recall we were told we weren't getting Pearson........................................... What makes you think they mean it this time?
Firstly, I think we may have been priced out of a move for Chester. As far as I can remember, we had a bid rejected and haven't put in another bid since - and with what was going on at Hull at the time, surely we would have bid again by now if it was our intention. And we know the Allams will hike the price up because it's us but also because it doesn't give a very good message to any prospective new manager to be selling your best players so I get the feeling this one is dying. Likewise though, the Sol Bamba move seems to have quietened down. If the reports were true, he'd already agreed personal terms so it looks like he wants to go, but if that's the case, then we'd want to get that sorted ASAP as well and that hasn't happened. It's certainly nothing like last year when all Sven's deals were out in the media within hours.
I think once we get people like Mills, Beckford, Bamba and Konchesky off the books we will be in a better position to bid for Chester
Doesn't matter, the Allams have said there will be no business with Leicester at all, if Stewart, Koren and Chester are going to leave, Chester will go to Everton or another Prem team, Stewart would go to a promotion pushing Champ team and Koren would do the same
Didn't you read my post properly, all 24 teams in the Championship are pushing for promotion, just ones with the right funds do so because they have the best squad, all that aside, the Allams have said they will be selling none of our best players, especially to you, my statement was hypothetical
Taylor, I'll say the same to you as I did to Charlie - We were informed by your owners that Pearson wouldn't be coming to Leicester and we all know how that turned out, you can hardly be surprised that we don't take much notice of him now
That was before the relationship between Leicester and us went sour in regards to the owners, you were happy to sell Fryatt and loan Waghorn to us, then when you got Pearson the Allams were pissed off, also after you got Pearson, he told Sky Sports and BBC how he was "interested" in signing Stewart and Chester, he had no right to brag about the money he was going to spend on our best players, after that the Allams said **** off and find some other dickhead to sell their best players to you
Im not too bothered few do or don't sign any Hull players. Chester is good yes but there are plenty more fish in the sea, some better, some just as good and some worse
Yeah, our two man team managed to finish above a multi million pound squad, well played Leicester, Mills and Beckford were worth every penny
