With all due respect (and i say this as a lad who is delighted to see Norwich back in the big league <ok>), i think that you'll gather the Sunderland fans are pretty ****ing happy with the aquisitions, thanks for your concern, but i think we'll be ok.

You just have to laugh a one of the fans from a club that will be all to probably relegated next season, due to a total lack of EPL quality in their team, coming on to our board and having a pop at us signing 5 EPL players (for less than 12m) with pedigree and experience, one of the hottest young strikers in the game today, an experienced international keeper (who may be back up anyway to our 2 other international keepers) and a wild card in Ji Dong Won (a very highly rated Korean lad)?

I'd worry about beating Derby County's points tally before I would be offering advice to us kidda and I think you are talking out of your tractor driving arse - with all due respects of course?

Robbie Savage is a household name in the EPL, but I wouldn't want him anywhere near my club.

What do I know about the players we've signed? Well I saw Ba play a few times last season and he was a class act, and you lot wanted him as much as we did. Admittedly I'm not too impressed by Marveaux, but he's better than Gardner and Larsson, and we have Jonas and Ferguson who also play his position so it doesn't matter if it doesn't work out. Cabaye I haven't seen much of, but I've heard excellent things about him.

The lad only gave an honest opinion, no need to fly off the handle. It's almost as if deep down you know your signings are ****, and have resorted to lashing out against reasonable comments in order to defend them.

Swansea rejected the bid. He would've been handy squad cover, but if (when) Enrique goes I'd hope we have someone better lined up.

I think I'd rather play the voucher at left back than McCartney. <ok>

One Newcastle fans view from their board
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

Players NUFC should sign: Wes Brown
Continuing on from yesterday I have added another player to my blog. This summer I think we should sign Wes Brown.
Sol Campbell will no doubt leave the club in the summer, or maybe even move into the coaching staff so that will leave us one centre defender down.

My choice to fill this position would be Wes Brown from Manchester United. Brown came through the youth ranks at Old Trafford and has been a solid squad member for the past 10 years, but has never really been a constant starter. Brown has bags of experience and could help our younger / less experienced defenders learn the game. You do not spend your entire career at Man Utd and pick up England caps if you are not quality.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

could he be right? I think he could well be.

Decided to ignore all the other comments where we said he isnt good enough? <laugh>

& That article is from months ago, before anyone says I'm only saying he is ****e because you lot signed him.

Gardener is a decent player, and I'd have liked O'Shea as he can cover all the defence, so. <ok>
