If Whickham had come through our youth system from an early age to where he is now I would say he would have been classed as being partially successful. However because we paid flipping great wodges of cash for him he can only be described as being a huge let down.

I'm no expert on FA regulations but I don't believe signing a player precludes you from signing others. Unless you're suggesting we've blown our transfer budget on the lad ...........
