Final Straw...

Tevez didn't actually score his first goal for West Ham until March. Pardew had been gone for a full two months and 7 games before he actually found the net which would suggest his problems lay outside who was manager and more in struggling with the league.

Hammer of the Year - they also held Harewood in enough regard to make him runner up the year before though so I think it can get a bit random in the voting

Seems more likely to me Carlos just wasn't happy because Pardew had punished him for the tantrum.

 

Unfortunately he's telling the truth though when he states that, and I wonder if it's his way of laying the blame at Ashley's door. MA isn't going to invest a penny so the club will only be able to spend what it generates. Sadly this means that we most likely can't compete with any club who's owners will invest any of their own money. How much does financial fair play allow owners to put in per season?

 

Maybe or maybe it takes a while for the Pardew rot to be eradicated from a players mind and body...

You may be right but I still have my doubts about Pardew's ability to get the best out of some players, HBA included. I'm not blaming the man for everything that is wrong in the world but I feel this is an area which could certainly be improved on.

Don't get me wrong, I have no doubt a better manager could get more out of certain players. I'm just not convinced HBA would be willing to change for anyone. If a manager can't utilise a player correctly it can make a player look bad. if a player can't be arsed to keep off the pies though, I'd level that at them.

 

Reading the HBA fan boys at the bottom of that article has cheered me up no end. Our fans are embarrassing at times.
