13/14th on account of our limited strength in depth and gifting goals away.

11th or 12th because injuries are going to take their toll on our stretched squad. We need our regular centre backs o get fit and Morison back up front.Even then we have no attacking midfielder cover for Del Boy, although we now have 3 defensive midfielders in the squad. If Del Boy stays fit we might finish a bit higher but we hardly win any games if he doesn't start a match. He is as critical to the team as Paul Robinson and Steve Morison.

I have a feeling we might sneak a top 6 place, we're not fancied to, but that's good.

If we don't i'd be happy with any position outside the bottom 3 with Palarse going down and those scum ****s from E london getting relegated

I'm with Westy, I reckon 5th or 6th finish, although now Morro is injured could lead to a different outcome ?

i think top 6 is very possible we just need to tighten up at the back which im sure will get sorted. We certainly fear no foe at home so why not<ok>

I dont wanna change my prediction, but in a funny way I dont want us to go up this year, if we are honest with ourselves the squad isnt good enough, another year in the champ will help the club more then a relegation battle next year.
Next Season, automatic promotion, you heard it here first!!!! <cheers>

Good chance for the young strikers on the books to become instant heros over the next two games!!

Don't think many expected us to have a chance of the playoffs to be honest but you're right in saying the squad isn't good enough. The added quality (Townsend and Puncheon) definitely highlighted how much it was and is needed at this high level. Can't get away with kick and run and relying on physicallity to win matches. KJ must have used this season to find who can and cannot cut it at this level so expect the axe to fall over the summer to let him build a strong championship squad.

Ulster Lion - I think you are right that KJ will have a clearout during the Summer. Taking the striker situation,we have 10 strikers in the current squad. Batt & Lisbie are injured,Morison & Harris suspended,Grabban,Grimes& Robinson out on loan. That leaves McQuoid, Marquis & Hughes-Mason to get us through the next couple of games. Morison has scored more goals this season than the rest put together. So why not have 6 strikers capable of competing for a 1st team place? Keep Morison,Batt,McQuoid and Marquis and add another 2 proven strikers. Get rid ot the rest of them as they are contributing nothing to the team now or in the future. Sullivan, O'Connor, Frampton,Hackett,Laird and Schofield are also surplus to requirements. I know getting rid of this numer of players sounds drastic but in the Championship we need quality rather than quantity. Back to original thread 11th/12th finish because of the striker situation.
