It wouldn't have made any difference. Perez was away and no amount of ambition would have meant that paying Rondon 150K a week made sense. You can't do anything once a player wants away, that is modern football. Leicester are better than us and have more resource. You can do even less when you don't own a player and he gets an offer no club in the world would match. That's football and you just have to move on and replace them. We have so it really is pointless and negative to dwell on things that we can't affect. I've seen this before at this club. The negative fans bring about a cloud over the club and we spiral. The fans are to blame as much as McClaren, Ashley etc for the relegations. Whether online or in the ground, the negative lot soon spread their infection. We like to present ourselves as great fans but there is a large toxic negative element who seem to want to bring the club down as well as Ashley.
That's the gotcha with ignored people mate....you forget that you've ignored them but they don't forget that they've been ignored !
