I was always told that a sign of a great team is a team who plays badly but wins.

What does that make us as recently we have played well in games but come away without winning. Cardiff, Blackpool and Reading as recent examples.

With Donny drawing against in form Reading that leaves them 3 points behind with a game in hand. I said before that I thought Donny and Portsmouth would go down and then it will be between us and Coventry who stays up as I think with Dexter Blackstock back from injury Forest will have enough to stay up. However with Millwall's current form they could be brought in to it. Our biggest problem that we have like every year is our goal difference as would hate it if we did go down and we were level on points with a worse goal difference.

    19 Millwall 36 -11 37
    20 Nottm Forest 36 -22 35
    21 Bristol City 36 -27 34

    22 Doncaster 35 -24 31
    23 Coventry 36 -19 30
    24 Portsmouth 35 -6 26

Heard someone on the radio on Saturday after the match say that we need at least 50 points to stay up. That would be 16 points from the 30 points to play for. If that is true I hope the boys have enough in them to get 5 wins. With upcoming games against Portsmouth, Coventry and Forest its in our own hands to stay up.

It has to be a must to get a min of 4 points from the Portsmouth and Watford game.

home games we have Coventry Watford Barnsley and Derby, Quite easily 12 points, pick 3 up Saturday and those 4 games along with 1 or 2 draws we will be alright, but not being big headed i cant see doncaster, Coventry and Portsmouth getting 49 points so i think 45 could be enough

    It's a straight scrap now.

Any game is winnable, and I include West Ham in that. If we win the games against relegation rivals, we're safe. It's as simple as that. I can't really see any of the teams picking up five wins, but I'm sure one will manage it. Let's hope it's us.

If the points aren't gained in these next ten matches, we can't have any excuses. Nothing about Millen, a squad in transition, a new manager bedding in. At this moment it's down to players we know can get results if the effort is put in. If we go down, we'll deserve it.
