I remember looking forward to watching the Trueman Show, seemed like a great idea for a film & a very interesting one. The mrs at the time wanted to watch Something About Mary so we watched both - one each night. The Trueman show was pretty **** compared to what I thought it'd be like, way ott in some parts whilst Something About Mary was brilliant & had loads of differenct people in to keep it interesting. I think I was put off as I had always got Stiller & Sandler mixed up, the thought of going to the cinema to watch Adam Sandler still makes me feel sick. Last night I watched Click which I'd recorded the other day. I was told it was really good & was not full of Sandler acting all ******ed putting on that stupid whining ****ing voice. Having seen the trailer previously I assumed it was going to be full of him pasuing birds with their tits out etc. ****ing hell I was in tears at the end when he'd fastforwarded half his ****ing life, missing his dads death, missing his kids growing up & sacrificing his life to make sure his son didn't go the same way. Went & got my son straight away & bought him in to our room so he could lie with me. Last time I cried like that was when Bianca left Ricky to go to Manchester.
Brum you ****ing gay. Are you called Aaron by any chance. I bet your son thought what the **** is going on?! Thank **** my pals don't see this I thought click was crap
A guide to Adam Sandler movies. 1. He's going nowhere 2. he has an amazing talent 3. he can get any burd he wants 4. someone evil doesn't like him 5. don't **** with him, he'll kick your ass 6. things end up amazing for him THE. ****ING. END! Actually Happy Gilmour was good but he's still a ****!
I didn't say Click was good, just that it surprised me that it was quite deep. Had an awful day yesterday & then saw all that ****ing grief on a film I thought might cheer me up before sleep!!
A film that really surprised me was Eastenders : The Movie I was surprised that I was the only straight **** in the theatre
Juno and Knocked Up both surprised me - that I actually tolerated them and didnt fall asleep or rip my own scrotum off, which I thought might happen when she suggested watchin them.
Iron Man - Expected it to be utter ****e, **** character with a **** back-story. Really just Batman in a flying suit. Was a really good film....for a comic-book film.
the departed- it suprised me in that up until that point i couldnt stand leonardo dicaprio in anything and he was great in that, then watch blood diamond (which i'd avoided because he was in it) and loved it
Leonardo DiCaprio's early work is really good - Basketball Diaries etc then he went all Titanic & **** & now he's making decent movies again, the Departed was ace & Catch Me If You Can was good too. Just remembered I recorded American Cousins last night, anyone watched it? I caught it late one night a few years back & there was **** all on, pretty good film considering its about the Italian Mafia getting chased by Russians to a restaurant in Glasgow
Has any **** watched Orphan? That film got ****ed up in the end. I don't know if I liked it or not because of the end!
Mean Girls, got talked into watching this by my ex. At first I was all, "**** sake no another chick flick." when I realised I'll get a ride for my effort I gave in and was pleasantly surprised. Some good quality scunge in that film, I sat through it with a rager and destroyed her at the end.
