We are all frustrated that FIFA haven't ratified our deadline day transfers. So I thought why the hell not, and written an e-mail to FIFA asking for an explanation why were still waiting for a decision more than two weeks after deadline day. Very much doubt I'll get an answer.
Somebody mentioned before. The whole League would be up in arms if a team like Manchester UTD didn't have thier players in. Or Arsenal who were desperate for players. What if Artetas deal hadn't gone through yet? I dont think there would have been any possibility of that happening
Think the problem lies within us being a welsh team playing in an English league. We are seen as an international team. Surely needs to be addressed

So who is going to fax them Seems like something totally futile needs to be done on somebody's part and us Jack Bastards are just the guys to doit. Perhaps a flurry of faxes will stir up the nest. A thought just occurred to me .... Wouldn't be ironic in all of this if FIFA were on hold waiting for some communication from the FAW.
Yankee aren't we in the FA for all matters now ? We joined them before the start of the season, so it stands to reason that transfers is up to the FA now
I think, and I could be wrong, that only stands for disciplinary matters. The problem arose through the extra paperwork needed for an "international" transfer between Wales and England, so I assume, in some nominal capacity at least, that the FAW were involved. Even in a nominal capacity, they've still got the power to **** it up...
I suppose there is some fine print about transfers that get rejected and agreed payment between the clubs. Be gutting if you have to pay but they can't play. It probably impacts the loaning / selling club as well, if they had budgetted on a fee or a wage reduction. Are you currently paying wages while they are sat in the stand? Seems a bit of a flaw in the system if it takes so long to ratify transfers. The window closed over 2 weeks ago.
I'm sure I read last week or prior to that, the FAW were to use a letter of approval that had given by the premier league (in support of us) that all the paperwork was above board!! So either they didn't do their bit (FAW), which I can't see it being the case, of just pure 'red-tape' crap/utter contempt from Fifa!!....

what a joke, somebody needs to find out what's going on. i thought anybody in the european union could freely work anywhere in the european union, so what's the problem with these signings?
It says it is down to minor delays. This is one very good reason to get transfers sorted before deadline day. I know it may not be the Swans that were holding out, but it is asking for trouble trying to get transfers sorted right at the last minute. Perhaps we should say that if transfers aren't sorted well before deadline then deal is off.
Rafik Halliche is Algerian, so has no right to work in EU without a work permit. But I don't think that's the issue here anyway. The issue is with FIFA having to sanction the deals.
