Every game, it seems to me that

    "Ricco isn't a full-back", or "Richardson is crap^.

Well. He doesn't pick where he plays, and he must be doing a fair job because people with views better than thine and mine keep throwing him in.

I like Ricco - who couldn't after THAT free kick?

Cut the boy some slack. He is getting better every came @ LB. Leave the boy alone.

    Nope. :p

If he wants to prove me wrong all well and good. <ok>
I just can't see it happening, that free kick has saved him a lot of grief he would have received otherwise. :)

Think he will. Be man enough to apologise when he does.

So all these years of his being rubbish are leading up to a sudden return to being able to pass the ball to a Sunderland player. :)

To me, he has a certain ability. It's a matter of application. If I'm right, we are in clover. If I'm wrong, we are in a place needing a new left back.

S**t happens. I think he can do it.

Like I say hope you're right, to me Bruce's reliance on him is blinding him to the fact we need a left back and left winger.
IMHO neither of which positions Ricco is good enough to fill.

There is a dearth of natural left-footers in the world (I'm one but am too old!)

Ricco has to - and I think is - applying himself to the role. " years time, Cole is 32. He will be 29/ 30?

His position, if he applies himself.

I think in a 5 man defence as an attacking left wing back, he would be immense as he should have some cover behind him with 3 central defenders (if we had that many). as a left back he does leave a lot to be desired, but he is a tryer i will give him that.

Think you may find that's a very small "almost" :p

I'm sorry but his passing where ever he plays is dreadful.

Good players dont want to pass. Ever. Lucky players do and find the right person.

I was a good player but an unlucky passer!
