Will it in reality ever happen that FFP rules will see teams banned from Europe or even from buying players? Just read that the transfer ban part of FFP has had to be shelved by UEFA for legal reasons. Therefore does this mean that for the time being the Allams will be acting as sugar daddy to put more millions in for Steve Bruce without fear of the FFP sanctions? Surely SB is going to need to spend much more than the club has got right now in the bank.
The Football League itself is not using the FFP regulations they are using their own and slighted twisted versions of them. The punishments the football league are looking at are millions of pounds in fines, that will hit clubs hard, and points deductions fi the said club hasn't being promoted. So these sanctions are fully within the Football League's rulebook to do things. So no they will not be Sugar daddies, i highly doubt due to the fact they aim to run it like a business. SB does not and will not need millions, Reading didn't need millions nor did Swansea or Norwich before them.
