Does anyone have any update on Ferrie Bodde, how nice would it be to have him back before the end of the season, could be that final ball player we need.
I think if the truth be told, we've all given up on this one, can't see it happening now, when I mention the name Bodde down the pub, I get laughed at and mocked, so I'll believe it when I see it! The trouble is that our club has been very secretive on two issues, that we as fans should be informed of, firstly the Academy, and secondly Bodde, the club need to come clean on both these issues!......................... please log in to view this image
Last chance saloon for Ferrie, to be fair the board have been very loyal to him because he is/was a special talent. Brendan has seen and heard enough to give him a final chance but unless he can make a come back in the next month or so it will be sadly over for the evil genius.
he is up and about and doing some swans pr work but to be honest even if he comes back he wont be good enough and the first hard tackle he will be crocked again. i dont think we will see him in the first team this season....
In answer to the original question, the last anyone heard he'd had a minor operation to shave a bone in his knee(?) which was causing aggravation (believed to not be linked to his old injury). I think the main concern is whether he can get past the mental barrier being out for so long will create, but I, and lots of people, still have fingers crossed he'll come back a quality player. If not, it's not for want of anything on the part of Swansea City FC. Good luck, Ferrie.
when he broke down the second time i thought he was finished, now i don't even think of him coming back.
I keep hearing rumours in my local that he has been seen training in the last 2 weeks. They also say he might be ready for a start in the reserves soon. Anyone else heard that (personally I think it's the rumour mill but I know a few of you sometimes go to Llandarcy)
