http://www.walesonline.co.uk/footballnation/swanseacityfc/swansea-city-fc/2012/06/01/91466-31095971/? Not a surprise, but still sad to see a great player leave like this. We gave him a fair chance to recover and stuck by him for many years. Wish him the best of luck.
Well we didnt see a tenth of how good this guy could have been. Loved watching him play. Good luck for the future> Fair play to SCFC gave hime every chance to continue his career.
Very sad but no surprise really Couldn't click your link , maybe this will work http://www.walesonline.co.uk/footba...c/swansea-city-fc/2012/06/01/91466-31095971/?
Watch him recover, and sign for Bolton, or Derby!!........................ please log in to view this image
Hindsight is a wonderful thing but maybe if, as the club wanted, he'd gone to America and had his first op under the world reknown Richard Steadman instead of insisting on treatment in Holland then perhaps he may have been able to carry on his career. Who knows but it is a sad day for him and us.
I think you hit the nail on the head there, Steadman is world renowned, and way ahead of everyone else, and he should have followed the clubs direction, all water under the bridge now!.................
Agree, didn't Tudor Jones go to see Steadman. He never had the same problem again. Let's be honest all the top pro's have see him, Shearer, Owen & Van Nistelrooy to name a few. He should have listened to the club, hindsight is a wonderful thing.
And he's taken his second knee there too?? But reading between the lines, Bodde was not fallowing doctors orders either, he's not been very professional in helping himself, and from what I can gather, has milked the club some what also!...............
It's a shame i never really got to see him play in the EPL. Kudos to the management to see through all his injuries and for keeping faith in a player for such a long period by renewing his contract time and time again. Thats something you dont see too often these days
