Keeping up the recent player name thread phenomenon, has anyone been to Nando's and what's it like? I've heard it's good, or is just chicken and chips? I'm working away and want to some tea, there's one nearby but I'm not sure I can be arsed to go there.
Nando's is mainly Chicken - but they do a lot of different dishes, and have a huge variety of how spicy you want it etc, etc. I haven't been for a while, but used to go quite often - the food is very good imo, The Menu might spin you out on your first visit, unless they've simplified it!

Bristol. Would have to go up to Cribbs Causeway but there's a driving range up there so was going to do that then get some grub. This being tomorrow.
Well, it's Portishead actually. I'm not struggling for decent food, I was just curious about that place.
Stayed in Portishead a few weeks ago, couldnt find anwhere decent to eat, so gave up and went to Morrisons. Yes, it was that desperate
Ah, my local corner shop! Had you crossed the lock bridge and turned right to the end of the promenade you would have seen my magnificent creation. And once past it up the steps there's a fairly decent pub which sells good ale and food.
Chief - Give it a go mate, you won't regret it. Luvv - the hottest sauce they do is hot, but that's what I have every time. But I'm the hotter the better type of person. I think they have about 20 different sauces available, plus you can get some of the dishes cooked in the sauce. It might be 'just a Chicken restaurant' but they have taken Chicken to the next level <oK> **** I'm hungry now - could die for a nando's!
Ok, whatever the hottest one is it's pretty spicy, I like hot food and that was just too much for me to enjoy. If I had to compare the heat with something everyone knows I'd say it's Vindaloo hot whereas I go for Madras and no more.
Nando's is vastly over rated IMO. Essentially some chicken and one sauce they vary the heat of. Just don't get what all the fuss is about. KFC genuinely nicer!!
