I'm posting this separate to the other thread because I thought Felix made some rather strange comments in today's press conference and which don't relate directly to the Stoke game. Here's a selection of his quotes (with observations): ** “Apart from Steve Sidwell the players are quite fit” … what is “quite” a euphemism for?? ** “[Amorebietta] .. it’s a new environment for him but I think he will develop depending on his abilities.” …. ah well, that’s him off then! ** ”I’m always nervous. Without being nervous, you can’t bring 100%” ….but, about 5 minutes earlier.. “[Holtby in the Hull game] .. was a bit nervous, that’s why I took him off.” **”[Hull game] .. the players got excited after going 2-0 up and tried to score more rather than not concede.”……..ehmm, wasn’t it Felix who brought on an extra striker in Bent!? ** "[Fulham] .. is a wonderful club which has problems at the moment with the first team. We have a good youth academy. I am here to build a team” ………..ehmm, wouldn’t want to scaremonger but does that sound a tad like our destiny is assumed!?
