Can see Macheda out of the game in a couple of years. Bad attitude, **** ability and unable to get on the bench in a team 3rd from bottom of the league. Serie C changed its name a few season ago, now called "Lega Pro". Same old ****e though.
Harsh, lads and lasses, harsh. If the club was doing better with great team spirit and all the fans happy etc etc then the lad might have developed and attained some of the potential that SAF must have seen in him at some stage. Of course, he (SAF) may have changed his mind since then!
Not harsh at all. He played like a tart when he got a chance, moaned a bit and disappeared with a mystery injury.
Macheda. Saw him 'play' for us at MK Dons. He epitomised the whole game. Crap from start to finish. Mind you, his pace is deceptive, he's slower than he looks!
An Italian friend of mine assures me that his name translates into English as Freddy McHeader; not sure whether to believe him or not....
For those that continue to mourn the loss of NW, please bear in mind that this was another choice by uncle Neil. This along with Hulse and Bothroyd must surely leave little doubt about what many in the business say: that he has never signed a decent striker for any of his clubs and probably never will. MH has no such problem of course; he just can't keep his star striker on the pitch for more than one game at a time.
