I know there is nothing I can do about it, and there is nothing any of you beautiful people can do about it, but I am getting increasingly frusrated at waking up in the morning and checking the OS only to find out that the best news they can come up with is that the hallowed turf is being relaid! Well if the new grass isn't interesting enough. you can always get a summary of next seasons competitors and their activity in the transfer market to date, even if we havent had any.
An announcement of matches for the summer tour...if our competitors can announce the match, I don't see why we cant, even if there are more matches still to be arranged...it's just frustrating looking at the same 'news-less' screen all the time when you are hoping for something, anything, more interesting!
With all due respect, there doesn't tend to be much news over the summer at football clubs. Although not announcing arranged matches is weird. Perhaps the guy who does the website is on holiday...
we've got to be patient - i'm sure bids have been placed for players behind the scenes and hopefully it will be worth the wait - Saints will be an attractive option to quite a lot of players. ( I hope Saints sign Liam Lawrence from Pompey - quality player and would seriously piss off the skates!!!)
The good thing is that we know nothing. Our chairman keeps his cards close to his chest and it will only be on his terms The papers also know nothing. The media knows nothing but both the TV sports channels and the papers have time or space to fill.
