I must admit 14 years ago I suddenly went off sweet things after having a near death experience in hospital. Clinically I was dead for 2 minutes. Casting my mind back though I used to love biscuits. Britain has been very fortunate in haing historically a rich tea diversity (like the pun?) in biscuits much like flowers. My most favourtists biscuit of all was the humble ginger snap. I used to have hours of fun dunkinging it in my cup of rich tea (oops I did it again) and salvage the soggy biscuit before it plummeted to the bottom of the mug. What is your favourite biscuit folks?
I used to love the Club biscuits, especially the orange ones. Used to fastidiously devour the chocolate first and then enjoy the sumptious orange biscuit. It was a work of art delicately removing all the chocolate without damaging the biscuit. Britain has had many fine biscuits down through the years. We should be proud of our biscuit heritage.
