When was that, I don't remember?

Fryatt played in all but one of our games last season, the most of any player.

That'll be including sub appearances. There were a few around September time when McLean and Waghorn played up front.

Having checked, there were three games that Waghorn and Mclean started, on the 10th, 17th and 24th September.

With McShane now added to Dudgeon and Aluko as done for the season FATHI could well be getting his chance over the easter games.

I think Faye and Fathi Must be serious contenders as starters for the Udders game. Plus does Bruce risk Meyler in this game - with Watford so close - as he is just one booking away from a 2 game ban ?

This Fathi situation reminds me of the Ghilas one the way some people want him to play despite the manager not picking him for good reasons most likely.

Ironically, though we won one and drew two in those three games, it was actually Koren who scored two of the three goals(Mclean got the third).

So he played a then current England U21 striker ahead of Fryatt, and we're equating it to playing Simpson ahead of him.

The reasons I specifically chose Simpson, McLean, and Fryatt were

    1) we've seen a significant amount of all 3 players, just as the Egyptian fans have of the 3 Egyptian players.
    2) it is almost universally accepted that Fryatt is the best of the 3, not just amongst fans, but amongst the managers we've seen them playing under, just as Fathi has been preferred to Elmo at international level, and rated as better than Gedo by Al Ahly fans.

If people choose to change the players involved, or start creating injuries for players then they're changing the important parts of the situation from the comparison being made.

EDIT: I'm not even saying Fathi should be playing, I'm just saying it's strange he hasn't and that we've not heard anything about why.
