With the 5-0 pasting they got from Nott Forest, its surely only a matter of time before Fat Sam is out the window.

The board have issued a statement of support now......always a death knell....

Bet what you will see now, is in a couple of weeks, Sam "resigning" or leaving "by mutual consent", where the board have publicly backed him and then said "right now take this cheque and p!ss off" and they offer him a few grand more if he says it was a mutual decision.

I think he probably has 2-3 games to save his job. The board are probably already looking. Di Canio? Would at least get the fans back on side.

Di Canio wouldnt be a bad shout, with his history with the club and everything.
About their level too I'd say.

He doesn't remotely deserve a P.L job but then it'll be a championship job soon enough anyway!!

I won't sticky this as I feel big Sam will surely be gone after another defeat. Only a matter of days I think.

Big Sam is a gonner. However like many other dud managers he will pop up somewhere else in a short time and join the duds merry go round.

I hope and trust big Sam is there when they come to the Bridge on the 29th! I'd like to be there to wish him a nice goodbye after a good thrashing of the Hammers!

    Another pasting for the Hammers.
No shame in losing to the best squad in England, but the manner of their defeat was humiliating.
Another defeat or two in the league and Fat Sam is the next manager casualty of the season for sure.

There is a worrying aspect. He is the manager who pioneered the type of player profiling Jose adopted. At Bolton he was acclaimed as an innovator and now all clubs in the premiership use his methods to some extent. I would imagine the Barra Boyz who own Wet Spam do not provide the same level of scouting as Notlob did. I hear they still send out blokes in flat caps who promise young players a glittering Championship career and all the pies n' mash they can eat.
