Another pasting for the Hammers. No shame in losing to the best squad in England, but the manner of their defeat was humiliating. Another defeat or two in the league and Fat Sam is the next manager casualty of the season for sure.
There is a worrying aspect. He is the manager who pioneered the type of player profiling Jose adopted. At Bolton he was acclaimed as an innovator and now all clubs in the premiership use his methods to some extent. I would imagine the Barra Boyz who own Wet Spam do not provide the same level of scouting as Notlob did. I hear they still send out blokes in flat caps who promise young players a glittering Championship career and all the pies n' mash they can eat.
