All this Mclean did great is just garbage. He ran around a lot, so what, that is the bare minimum. We could have kept ***an for that job. Simpson isnt liked by NP. Adestrolla is not good enough. We keep the ball well now thanks to TC. We need a proper target man. Then when he holds it and lays it back TC, Koren and Mckenna can thread the balls through for Fryatt to slot in.
Bit harsh on Mclean Chazz, he had his best game for city yesterday in my opinion and if he wasn't being climbed all over by their defence we would have seen a bit more from him. Simpson is still worth keeping here in my opinion, whether he'll still be here come the end of next week remains to be seen. I expect us to get Waghorn in, if not then knowing the current management team we'll have other irons in the fire (don't expect another Sonko debacle!)
I don't think Mclean is good enough, Don't forget where we got him from and he's no spring chicken ( in football years ) He's as good as he's gonna get and that's not good
People are convinced we need another striker, and yet they aren't willing to give Adebola a chance to play before they label him as not good enough. Clearly if two of our 4 strikers are nowhere near the first team, the other 2 are playing well. If we get Waghorn in we've got plenty of options up front. I just hope we don't let Simpson go on a perm as I still think he has potential.
