Fare Dodgers

The public transport service provider for Northern Ireland has revealed the most outrageous excuses used by passengers who attempted to travel without paying for their tickets.

I got done for that when I was a student, £150 fine, ooops.

 

Throughout the entire 1980s I never once paid full fair on the tube. They even had guards standing at the exits at some stations, collecting the 20p minimum fares which of course they trousered for themselves. If they weren't there you just jumped the barriers.

This country's gone to the dogs since this sort of low level thievery has been all but eradicated.
