At the level this is aimed at, very few clubs will pay scouts for "academy" age scouting bar the big clubs. Most will offer free tickets, free clothing, free coaching courses etc to compensate. Although there will and is the odd exception
All things being normal there would be people falling over themselfs to get involved, all the Allams ****ish behavior over the last few years will have reduced the number prepared to help.

Your comment wasn't clear as I wasn't sure how to interpret it due to your choice of words, nothing more sinister than that. My dig at the Allams is directed at the fact they have all of a sudden chosen to do this when the club is in decline and they are looking to offload it. It comes across as cynical, but that is just my opinion - you don't have to agree with it. Oh, and I don't need a thick **** like you to explain how academy scouting works. You obviously do.... The clubs been doing this for years they are just expanding and taking on a bigger pool. It's got nothing to do with the allams offload or anything to do with the club in decline.

You're guessing, as am I, although I distrust and dislike the twats enough to question a questionable initiative. I think they're going through some cheap motion to try and reap a reward. Attending the meetings might be a bit tricky, but apply and find out. (surely you could skype into them nowadays)
