Beef....Yes i seen your banker, i dont think Barca are good value, dont get me wrong they deserve to be favourites but odds on in 90 is a little skinny! SAF will have a cunning plan to stop Barca! Also dont forget Man Utd are still the number 1 ranked side in world football, and even this season they have out scored Barcelona in the rankings table, so theoretically Man utd at 100/30 in 90 is were the value lies! WF....Nope i was always going to join this board when 606 ended anyways, i should have said before i deleted my account, luckily Ron helped me out though!
Lol, ok; When you putting up your next shoo ins. Is it just the big races/ festivals you do or is it when you have a look and really fancy something. Coz I remeber in the old 606 it just seemed to be the big races/ festivals (from what I remember, I am probably wrong)
WF......It all depends realy, i dont post all my selections, as alot are placed during racing! We will see i will put up a horse or 2 tommorow once ive had a look! We have the Dante this week and the Lockinge so im sure il have a selection for both of those races!
Yea, am looking forward to this weeks racing, will be good. Am fairly new to Flat Racing as always been just in to NH racing. I know alot about NH but am getting more in to flat racing now. Any way im off now, will catch you soon, with your money makers
Shergar I will follow you where ever you go. Your wisdom in racing is unsurpassed… As many on 606 have mentioned you was never abusive to anyone even though you was getting the rough end of the stick many times. I always enjoyed a good laugh with your banter. I would like to donate a huge lump to you when I make my fortunes perhaps in the shape of a nice sports car. lol
Welcome all. Great to see this place coming alive. If it's anything like the Wycombe Forum everyone prefers it to 606 and we have doubled our 606 community since moving here. What are the views on the classics?
Shergy should be a good final, I'm just praying for a repeat of the final 2 years ago, Barcelona are the best team in the world bar none (the rankings mean diddly sqwat Shergy as you know) but if anyone can manage a result against them it'll be Fergie!
Beef.....The rankings do mean something. They show which side has been consistantly the best over a long period of time, and the facts remain Man Utd have performed better than Barcelona this season, and on average for the last 5 years! Man Utd have not lost a game in Europe this season, were as Barca have! Man Utd haven't even conceeded a goal away from home in Europe, in 6 away matches, equalling Ajax's record! The facts don't lie, Man Utd are a better side than Barcelona, and there results back it up!
My son will be pleased Shergar. He's a Man U fan and believes they will win 3-1. Viddich(? spelling) to head in the first goal within 20 mins, Man U to go 2-0 up. Barcelona to pull 1 back and Hernandez (Chico?) to put the game to bed in the last 20 mins. What odds that happening, 10,000-1?
You could have a Scorecast, so Vidic to score first and Man Utd to win 3-1, would probably pay 200/1 atleast! Not sure there's any bet were you can predict the rest! Do you know the reason why The Lockinge thread has been closed, I just wrote out a long comment on the race, and it won't let me post!
