It's all coming out of the woodwork now...

Reckon Blatter is hiding in a Swiss bunker now

I think we need to brace ourselves for an interesting few weeks/months.

    This story is absolutely crazy.

Warner's threat that he's going to release an "Avalanche" of dirt is going to fascinating.

I do love a comeuppance. The real shame is that despite Blatter's downfall the next guy will still be from FIFA.

Shame he's nearly 80 too as he'll probably only serve 10 years maximum stir before he pops his clogs if he's convicted of wrong doing.

I really hope our FA are squeaky clean here after all of their posturing.

Morning Dave, good to see you back after your enforced sabbatical!

FIFA'c corruption knows no bounds, does it. I wondered at the time why the FAI made so little fuss over that cheating little French bastard.

Now we know. The FAI come out of it badly too in my opinion. Loan, my arse! They accepted a bribe, seems a few Euros were more important than the possibilty of the Irish fans seeing their team reinstated.

I'd quite like to do my own boycott of the world cup by not watching it, but I know I won't. Football is just too important for me (like I'm sure it is for most on here). These people do severely test my resolve though.

If our fa are not clean then they are pretty poor at corruption given that we have all facilities and infrastructure in place to stage a World Cup tomorrow yet the next two tournaments have gone to Russia and Qatar who are years away from it and in the case of Qatar employing hugely questionable working practices in an effort to get the job done. Under blatter it would have been no surprise had the tournament gone to North Korea

I hear that FIFA are taking into account the uproar regarding the high temperatures surrounding the Qatar r playing conditions and are considering relocating to somewhere more compatable, Greenland possibly!

Doubt reinstatement would have ever been an option. It would have been a lawsuit for reparations and they basically settled out of court. Still odd they didn't tell anyone though. Immediately makes it look dodgy.

Well, it was an option in the eyes of the FAI. Was never going to happen though.

At least it gave Blatter a good laugh, and who wouldn't want that! <grr>
