The naming of the fanzine will be put out to tender on this forum - with a vote-off to decide on the very best.

Your points are more than valid, Killer, but not everyone uses technology. People still buy newspapers and magazines. It is still easier and more enjoyable, in my opinion, than reading off of a phone or computer. I still can't get my head around e-books and Kindle devices.

Anyway, my, or should I say our, fanzine will be the greatest ever.

The most enjoyable aspect of Not606 is the variety of debate, and how eloquently, passionately and humorously each different point is produced.

We seem to have several wannabe writers in our midst, and I think we definitely owe the other 14,293 fans the chance to share in that.

But then we're all reading this on the internet, and nothing written in a fanzine couldn't be written on the internet, and then published immediately, rather than having to write articles days in advance, print out a hundred copies, then stand in the rain selling them. This was one of the reasons Rick Everitt let VOTV die, as the technology had made other means of distribution easier.

Good luck if you want to produce a fanzine though, I'll probably buy a copy to see what it's like!

Didnt we once have one back in the late 90s am sure it was called "Goodbye Horse"

Maybe see if there is any copyright on that name and if not resurrect it??

I have to admit i'm not one who buys or reads books/magazines online

I spend enough of my life in front of a computer screen at work and then at home to need to give the eyes a rest from looking at bright screens all the time. I have seen ebooks and whilst they look convincing as a book it doesn't stop the eyes from staring into yet another screen

i'm old school me I still always prefer books and magazines to be just that and not done on computer
