Evening gooners! Gonna be a bit cheeky and ask you for a bit of ff help if I may... I'm considering transferring in Gibbs for Jose Enrique this weekend, as liverpool don't play. Only thing is, I've used up my free transfers this week so another one would cost me 4 points, therefore it would only be worth doing if he plays (and you keep a clean sheet). I fancy you nt to concede against Wigan, so what are the chances of him playing? I think eh was injured for the wolves game, but if he's fit is he first choice LB, or is that santos' spot to lose now? Cheers in advance guys!
He went off against City and Wenger said it was more down to fatigue. But Santos is fit now and probably needs a run of games. Knowing his history, I doubt Wenger will risk Gibbs. So Santos will probably start against Wigan. But we will know more after Wenger does his press conference.
gibbs will play only if he recovers from 'fatigue' (wengers words) but if he does he does a decent job specially in attack. I would wait for wengers press conference on friday.
