Saints fan in peace Just thought I'd come on to say well done for yesterday. It's taken 24 hours for me to get over, but it was a massive win for you boys. I thought you defended really well, I came to Loftus Road earlier in the season and you look a completely different team. Much more desire, and you won first's and second's all over the park this weekend. Your fans were loud throughout and the Redknapp banter made me laugh a quite a lot, although I still do ****ing hate him! Good luck for the rest of the season.
I agree, thought QPR looked a much better team than last time, although it wasn't pretty football the quick counter attacking was effective and it look like that c**t redknapp got us sussed, not many teams come to st Mary's and dominate possession so I think tactically he was spot on although I hate to admit it. I think you have a slight chance now, I don't hate QPR I just hate redknapp but if you do stay up it will be a great escape like the one we did in 99, I think saints need 3 more wins and couple of draws and we will be fine, and QPR 6 out of 10, do able just got to find some consistency now, good luck for rest of season, and I wouldn't mind if you did stay up, as long as it wasn't us you dragged into it
Fair play to you both, we've had a lot of your idiots on here over the past few days so nice to hear from some decent Saints fans.
Really? You're nicely magnanimous in defeat - which is great - but perhaps you're taking football way too seriously if defeat in a routine league game has that big an effect on you.
Are you for real? Got out the wrong side of bed or something? A routine league game that most certainly wasn't!
No, I'm a hologram. Always. It's like a form of OCD. For QPR, no. For Southampton? Surely it was exactly that. Some of them chose to get wound up about the visit of a former manager. But that doesn't make it any more of a crunch fixture for them in terms of the wider context of their season.
The game was widely described as the biggest relegation game so far this season. It was huge for Southampton as well as Rangers imo.
It was a big game for both teams, spot on Col. If the Saints had won they would have been 13 points ahead of us and 7 down to the drop zone. Instead they only lead us by 7 now and 4 points to the relegation places. BIG difference. The true definition of a six-pointer. Well done to you Sainst fans coming on here gratious in defeat.
I can never tell if thisismyengland is a QPR fan or not he comes out with some bizarre stuff. That game could have ended our season and was a massive game for both clubs. Thanks to the Saints fans they came on here with their respectful comments.
I've been attending LR on-and-off since April 10 1976. I'm the son, grandson, and great grandson of QPR fans and the father of another QPR fan. Does this count?
Cheers both!. Not too sure what your genders are, but you're a pair of gents as far as I'm concerned. I spent some time in Southampton at college and went to The Dell a couple of times while I was there. Proper football club and I hope you guys stay up.
