I live in appartments that have a lot of Korean students living here. I have seen at least a dozen QPR tops in the last week or so... They all go for the red and white quarters too.... I used to be the only QPR fan here, but thats changing...rapidly !!!
I used to enjoy that exclusivity, especially living down the road from the Chelsea players. Where my daughters once wore the 'Hoops' and got mocked, they are now getting asked about our club. Even kids can spot a genuine team, and they also enjoy going against the grain. The QPR that we once knew is now open, although I don't think Chelsea will suffer just yet. I feel that Fulham will in this part of the world...SW London / Surrey.
Mate, its all good and we may have to sell out ( a little bit) but we are already well known here and Park's signing is just the icing on the cake... Getting really homesick now !!
I can only imagine how that must feel. Set a date and like the Irish Rs make the journey back for a game at HQ. Meet up with a few of us on here and feel the warmth, it will be good for your soul. You'll soon realise that your not missing anything back here in blighty, but at least you'll feel the rawness of Loftus Road to get you through twelve months of being back in QL. That has to be good.
