So 40 teams from the leagues below us and 24 teams from our league will be in the hat on Monday! Cambridge won it last season & won promotion via the play offs. Anyone interested in a cup run?
Won't be to bothered if we go out straight away. Cup runs are always nice but we really do need to concentrate on getting out of the Conference.
I would love a day out at Wembley. The other year when we got to the play-off final against Shrewsbury, I was living in West London - only a couple of miles from Wembley. Couldn't get a ticket because you needed to be a Supporters Club member, or buy from the club shop, but I couldn't get to Bristol. Rocked up to Wembley on the day - would have paid anything for a ticket off a tout or whatever, but couldn't get one, spent hours trying - so f*cked off ! Was there in 1990 (?) for Sherpa Van / Leyland Daf / Mickey Mouse Cup - I would take that any day - great day out !
I would like to play in this tournament once, and once only! I suppose it will be novel to play in a tournament in which we're by far the biggest team! The Man Utd of the FA Trophy The Teds will be all over that

good draw. gives us a chance to get to the next stage but both teams see us as their cup final and will be up for it! tweet from bath... "Prize for winning replay on Tuesday night @Official_BRFC away in the next round. How's that for an incentive?" https://twitter.com/BathCity_FC/status/539391299842211840 tweet from gloucester... "How about that incentive for either us or @BathCity_FC, a trip to the Memorial Stadium against @Official_BRFC. #COYY" https://twitter.com/GCAFCofficial/status/539390258555920384 we will find out who we face tomorrow night. 7.45pm kick off and bath got the home advantage.
So the game will be played on Saturday 13th another game I can't go to then City also playing on the same day
Are City at home too that day? They dont normally let us both play at home the same day. Our game should have been moved to either Friday/Sunday. I didnt know that clubs in cup competitions can agree between them that the game must be settled in the 1st game so there will be no replay!! How is that allowed? Surely thats being given the advantage so they dont get to have a fixture pile up! http://www.footballconference.co.uk/mobile/news/details.php?news_id=13966
Having had the pleasure of attending a recent event in Weston super Mare a few weeks ago the question of the FA trophy and the seriousness which DC will take it came up. DC was very positive and in his response and stated that there is no reason why we should not aim to win it. Good positive attitude and who knows maybe do the the Double. Very impressed by DC shame cant say the same about his fellow attendee from the Board.
