    Morning Chaps

You may have already discussed the final and ticket allocation but I felt I needed to gauge opinion.

How is it that we have a combined 50k availability in an 80 thousand seater?

An incredible 40k goes to the FA's cronies and sponsors.

The chance of me as a Liverpool fan getting a ticket are zilch. Probably more likely to get hit by lightning!

I would like to consider some sort of banner protest per fan with "corrupt FA" or something similar.

If we did it alone it would get linked back to sour grapes with Suarez, but if you guys did it too it would make a point.

Those travelling from the north can't bloody travel back either as they've moved the dates for commercial reasons on a day where there are limited train services (Branson also told the FA of this yonks ago).

I cannot help we're being chafted and until we do somthing it will continue.

    Opinions?

    This is realy quite simple.

The only way that the FA could afford to build 90,000 seat stadium is to sell (some would say rip off) their 'cronies' a ten year ticket licence in Club Wembley.

That accounts for more than 15,000 tickets.

The other 25,000 tickets go to the grass roots people who make football work at all levels in the UK.

In the old Wembley which held 100k and had no Club Wembley tickets the allocations were even lower.

Its not going to work Sharpe, The F.A affiliates will take up these tickets. The F.A. could not exist without them and as such it rewards it affiliates with two tickets each for their flagship competition. This they will never change this so protest is futile.

The allocations have been like this for 50 years.
It isn't going to get changed, indeed 25k is as high as it's ever been at Wembley.

If you'd organized your protest in a year you weren't there I might think you're sincere rather than just another scouse wanting the rule changed AFTER the fact.

What makes it more difficult is the fact that the new Wembley holds 11000 fewer than the old Wembley!

its bang out of order, the tickets should go 50 50 to both clubs and if a club does not sell their allocation the remainder should first be offered to the other club before being put on general "public" sale by the fa, not sold on to their corporate cronies. Furkin fa think they own football.

The real disgrace is a 90,000 stadium in a city of 9 million and a country of 63mill. For example, sticking with what I know, Melbourne has 4mill population and a 109,000 seater, plus a 70,000 seater as well. Sydneys' Olympic stadium for the 2000 Games was 105,000, now reduced to 87,000, 5 mill population.
Wembley, as the national stadium, should have been at least 120,000, and not located in Wembley !!!!!
