Just came back from the arsenal Burnley match, and I take my hat off to Burnley for fielding a full strength team and went for it 100%. This is after playing on Monday and also having a game on Tuesday. That's what the fa cup should be about. The 2000 + Burnley fans had a great day out, and they gave it a right go. There was no changing the full 11, they played their best players and they wanted to win, not like us!
2000+ dear god forgot what a tinpot club Burnley are, Arsenal allocate 9000 for cup games and usually reduce prices. Dreadful support.
It was a guess, it was probably a lot more actually, there were not a lot of empty seats in their end. Didn't realise they were allocated so much.
Yeah I give a **** about the FA Cup, I am proud that we once won it, I am disgusted at the way our tin pot manager treats this competition! Good to see the likes of Reading, Blackburn and Burnley treating it with respect and fielding strong sides. With the extra revenue they will be able to bring in a decent loan or two, while our twat of a manager thinks our squad is the strongest he has had and that we don't need to bring in fresh faces!
