Those pending replay - if your team is knocked out in the replay your 2nd round selection will automatically be deemed invalid and that selection will then become available for another valid punter.

Just a reminder the competition will end and be won once the last player is standing...left in the game, so that will not necessarily be the final and may be a much earlier round.

For rounds one and two I don't see the above rule being a problem as i expect at least someone by the law of averages to get in to round 3, however, at that stage i have an additional rule ready to implement if all players get knocked out, that will be revealed after this round - think how i think, it will not benefit glory hunters

Sorry Gashead I've already got Bradford and is pending a replay. I believe it is my right to hang onto Bradford should I wish. If Bradford do win their reply I intend to stick with them until they and I are out.

Sorry Windy...you might want to read the rules

Gashead's selection is valid You only keep the team for one selection only, if you want to reclaim your team for the next round you have to be quick ...i'm sure alwaysright may be able to help you with the definition of quick

I did it this way to liven the comp up and keep members active by having to re-select each round.

That was my team in the first round but I couldn't bring myself to be wanting a team in red and white stripes to win twice in one season! (There's been enough of that lately)

Windyrog - the best way to describe "quick" is to refer you to my wit and sense of humour - which I'd like to think wasn't so much warped - but of 'warped speed.' unfortunately it is usually so fast that most people are unable to keep up and never get to see it.

brb - I think I'll do 'a Gillingham' in the 2nd round - I'll not bother - that way I can give grumpygit at least a 57% chance of getting to the next round.

Windyrog - that was an example of 'warped' humour - but it will still be too quick for grumpy.

 

No probs.....I'll sit out and cheer from the sidelines..

 

As my first round selection has been poached by Minxy (cheek selecting her own team!!) I'll go for Barnet
