You missed out the year Gulasci made a clanger for their winner. Think he came out missed the ball completely and their striker tapped it in.

Only decent thing at Burnley is the Cricket Club next door.

I'll be happy if we get anywhere near 20 points by New Year.

Sorry Lammy, I've got to put my health and safety hat on here.

If you torch them whilst clamping their testicles in a rusty vice then someone is going to get hurt.

It could be very dangerous. Flame ******ant gauntlets at the very least, but then tightening the vice could be a bit tricky.

I suspect the H&S commission would be much happier all-round if you commenced torching after the clamping when the clamper has retired to a safe distance away from the clampee.

I wouldn't want you to get into trouble with the Law.

I'd have thought the game in 84 was as good a reason as any to hate Burnley.

I appreciate your concern Ernie, but I'm afraid as far as I'm concerned, when it comes to Health & Safety, Burnley can **** right off.

If we cant keep possession, and dont close down in midfield, we wont beat many premier league teams!

My experience watching Burnley games is a little different to yours although I have been to about the same number at Turf Moor. My first job was in Lancaster and my boss was a huge Burnley fan who took me along to mostly evening matches if I fancied the game.

This was in the early 60's when they were in the middle of a 24 season run in the old Div1 and probably in the best period of their history. In the time I worked in Lancaster covering 3 seasons they finished 2nd,3rd and 4th and the season before I arrived they were champions. The quality of the games I went to were very good.

The biggest lowlight for my boss was when he took me to Old Trafford believing they would beat Man United only to be hammered 6-0.

I think people's expectations have been too high in general any advance on last season in the league is good enough for me no matter how small.

The thing with Bruce is not that we lost some games more the way we lost or even the draws, we were playing well, winning, and he changes the way we are playing to sit back and it has backfired that isn't a problem once (it can happen) but he didn't seem to learn from it and did it again and again. I would still give him every chance but he needs to be more proactive and change things before they go bad example being after the Burnley game he decided to change the formation and it worked against Spurs until we went down to 10 men, most on here myself included suggested 4 at the back FOR the Burnely game would be better and allow us to attack, Bruce didn't see this and that is what worries me.
