Not sure how accurate this is, but it seems we might be losing some big wage earners This was from a list done in summer of 2013 1 Maarten Stekelenburg AGE 30 YEARLY WAGE £1.2 million CONTRTACT REMAINING 2017 xxxx 13 David Stockdale 27 £588,000 2015 38 Neil Etheridge 23 2014 4 Philippe Senderos 28 2014 out 5 Brede Hangeland 32 £3.1 million 2015 18 Aaron Hughes 33 2014 xxxx 35 Fernando Amorebieta 28 £1.8 million 2017 3 John Arne Riise 32 £800,000 2014 xxxx 17 Matthew Briggs 22 £602,400 2014 xxxx 27 Sascha Riether 30 2016 23 Derek Boateng 30 £2.4 million 2015 7 Steve Sidwell 30 2014 xxxx 14 Georgios Karagounis 36 2014 xxxx 28 Scott Parker 32 £3.64 million 2016 16 Damien Duff 34 £2.34 million 2014 out 24 Ashkan Dejagah 27 2015 11 Alexander Kacaniklic 22 2014 15 Kieran Richardson 28 £1.3 million 2015 8 Pajtim Kasami 21 £1.9 Million 2015 19 Adel Taarabt* 24 £2.6 million 2014 out 10 Bryan Ruiz 28 £1.3 million 2015 xxxx 9 Dimitar Berbatov 32 £5.2 million 2014 out 20 Hugo Rodallega 28 £3.9 million 2015 29 Marcello Trotta 20 2015 39 Darren Bent* 29 £3.36 million 2014 out If you look at those going or already gone (2014) it's a big chunk off the wages Berbatov 5.2, Taarabt 2.6, Bent 3.36, Duff 2.34 I guess Mitroglou is on a high wage, Hugo and Parker, Boateng are on high wages, but I guess Hugo and Boateng got those through being on frees. I suspect Kacaniklic and Dejagah are on about the same as Kasami. Hughes and Senderos have gone. Karagounis and possible Sidwell are out of Contract. Sounds like Stekelenberg is being offered to clubs. So in all the wage bill sounds like it will be cut. And I would think most buys will get a contract below £2m a year.
