Nice one! I reckon he will.

While we are discussing this I had another idea today, Lapras as you are well in with the Ladies, why not plug not606 a bit to them, it would be great to have their support on here.

Nice one 3rd eye, well done on getting a response and it may help Mark realise there is some demand for Pompey Ladies! I'm impressed you e-mailed the CEO of the club to accuse the club of being institutionally sexist though, I'd never have had the gall to do that! <laugh> (though as I represent Pompey Ladies I have to try to not be too controversial, which is why I try to ration my sarky comments to the FA over Twitter)

Of course, I completely understand (hopefully they'll be in the budget next year!) and of course the first priotiy was/is to stablise the club as a whole however, it does not cost a single penny to write a status on the the Facebook page "Pompey Ladies are playing whoever at Privett Park this weekend!". I'll even PM them a status maybe so all they have to do is copy and paste! They gave more support to bloody Gosport in the FA Trophy than they've ever done for Pompey Ladies!

Perhaps, perhaps! Not sure if any of them use forums or anything.

I said it nicely Lapras <laugh>

Actually I thought he was quite gracious in holding his hands up but I'm betting that if there is another report from eg. Iain McInnes there will be a mention of the Ladies Team, even if it's just that they had their first ever match at Fratton Park - making history for them.

As Mark Catlin says, they are a seperate entity so don't hold your breath on seeing them in the budget next year, but I reckon if you give them the information they will put it on the OS. They aren't ignoring the Ladies Team, they're just not used to remembering to include them so much. It will take a while but you'll get there.

****ing hell, Portsmouth FC have actually posted about a game BEFORE it took place! It's unbelievable, Jeff!

Hopefully the two clubs can merge soon. I've been posting adverts on the PFC Facebook page and unfortunately they haven't shared them! Admittedly, they don't seem to share any posts that people post on their page.

It's game day! If you can't make it to the game, you can follow Facebook or Twitter for updates as I'll be doing both. Facebook updates tend to just be goal and half-time/full-time updates but Twitter involves more live commentary.

If you can make it, or you know anyone who can, please do so/encourage them to come as we need as much support as we can muster!

See they lost 2-0, which isn't a bad effort by Pompey Ladies, bearing in mind the number of internationals in the Notts County side <ok>

Yeah, it was 2-0 but Notts County didn't score till like the 75th minute, and up until that point, it had been relatively even and we had had a few chances. Of course, as you say they have dozens and dozens of international players. That Jess Clarke seems like quite a player, bloody fast. Got a cheeky photo with her after the game, wheey!

Got a crowd of over 400 as well which was awesome! The constant plugging seemed to work! Yay

I see Jess Clarke has scored 10 goals in 41 matches for England Ladies - not a bad record for a winger.

You should have asked her out, Lapras - very pretty lady <ok>

Lol, I'd never ask someone out I just met. Don't have the cajones to pull it off.

Indeed, but tbh, and no offence to her, but I wasn't attracted to her and asking her out never crossed my mind.

I mean, there's players who play for Pompey I'd ask out ahead of her.

I suggest to you that asking someone out before you know them is a lot less difficult than after you have been friend-zoned. Nah, ask them out before they have noticed all your annoying habits, that's my motto. That way if they say no, it's no big deal.

Tbf, I like to know something about the girl in question before I ask them out.

Admittedly one of my previous gf I didn't know that well before we started going out. If I had I might have known that she's a ****ing whore.

Either way, I don't have any inclination to ask out any of the Pompey players. I don't know enough about any of them.

More exciting news, it seems the report for the Pompey Fans Survey has arrived today, and they're meeting on Tuesday to discuss when to publish it.How exciting.
