    FFS <doh>

Its the councils that want them evicted........the families just apply for housing in another area under another council. They will not be homeless as they will put in emergency housing, hotel etc until they are rehoused

And that emergency housing will presumably be more costly than leaving them where they were.
You'll then foist them onto some other poor, unfortunate neighbourhood, without actually doing anything about the problem.

Move them all next to MPs.
    It'd get sorted then.

Why would you have 3 or 4 kids when you can't provide a home for them to live in?

    What do you propose??

End of the day your child is under 16 they shouldn't be out in the middle of the riot, looting until 4 in the morning.

They have already failed as parents so moving them to another ****hole area is hardly going to be that much of a punishment.

One mate had his own house but lost it when he lost his job a few years back and my other mate was renting a place but got shafted by the landlord. Like idiots they moved in with family and because they didn't declare themselves homeless straightaway they were not given emergency housing as they had family they couldlive with.

How is displacing families with problems going to solve the problem?

If you are Wandsworth council and your housing a scummy family that are causing other tenants grief, costing you time & money dealing with their **** of course you would want to get rid of them and let someone else house them.

3 strikes & your out completely would be my rule in council housing rather than letting these ****s move from borough to borough.

Why should the decent 99% of families in these areas put up with the horrible rats of society? Do you not feel sorry for them having to live by scum like that?

You just want to evict decent law-abiding English people from their homes and replace them with Catholics. How do you propose to pay for that?

Not knowing where your child is for a few hours isn't necessarily an absolute failure of parenting.
You could do absolutely everything right and still have that happen.

Punish the child adequately and maybe make the parents do community service or something, if it's found that they were negligent.
Perhaps a short spell of distributing food to the drought stricken in Africa might help them to develop a healthier attitude?
    A month or two, maybe?

None of them are catholic <ok>

Not law abiding as they have failed to advise the council in the change of circumstances to her household.

In the middle of a riot that is being shown all around the world though? My kid wouldn't be going out.

As I said at the beginning my understanding is that it is for families with previous & I agree with that

They might already have gone out before it kicked off and not come home.

If families face eviction anyway, then Cameron's not introducing anything new at all.

I think you're missing my point - how does displacing people with problems solve the issue of social unrest?
This measure is not designed to rehouse problem neighbours away from decent families, it's a punitive measure designed to punish people.
It solves nothing and creates more problems.
    That's why it's a ludicrous idea.

Addressing the underlying issues about why those problems exist in the first place is what politicians should be doing.

Its the councils that are doing it, he has come out in support of it. The eviction process is long, serving papers, notice etc they want to use the riots to get rid of all the scum in their borough.

In effect it'll be family a family b swapping houses!

Agree he is a tory **** though <ok>

If the Government want to cut benefits for those who ruin the country and act irresponsibly, then they should take back the benefits they gave to the failed banks and propped up financial institutions.

That would have saved the taxpayer £850bn
    <ok>

Agree that the riots started over certain issues, were exaggerated in numbers because of social issues in those areas and need to be looked at so if it happens again most people in these areas will not join in leaving a handful of rioters rather than hundreds.

As I said wandsworth council want rid of said boy as there is obviously previous issues with him or the family.

I do not agree that they should all be rehoused as it is pointless.

& remember evicted conjurs up thoughts of being homeless, in reality they will be given a new house elsewhere before the eviction as the eviction process is so long anyway

They should deal with why these people are so absolutely stupid.
That would solve most of the problems.
