I'm well to the right of this current government but that is an absolute non-starter. You can't punish people for the crimes of their offspring. The thing that done my napper in was some woman from Manchester talking to the BBC news with her son. She was going on about poverty and saying that the police shouldn't have done what they done. A business owner was in the background overheard and said; "What's that got to do with destroying businesses up here?" "Well the police were over the top" "But what has that go to do with..."
