    Can't provide a link as I can't be ****ed to look for one. Been listening to Radio 5 and apparently Cameron's bright idea that parents of rioters should lose their council houses has now become reality and the first family have been served with an eviction notice. What the **** is going on? Time after time Cameron comes up with the most bizarre airy fairy bollocks policies and no one steps in and says "hang on a minute, that's bollocks". I'm well to the right of this current government but that is an absolute non-starter. You can't punish people for the crimes of their offspring. The yuman rights brigade are going to milk this for the rest of time. Twat.

    Hang about, if a kid is truant from school, don't their parents' get punished as well?

    Why should it be any different for a minor that was caught rioting?

    well done dave.

    i don't have any sympathy for the parents who allowed/knew/suspected their kids were out looting and did nothing about it. the parents are usually as braindead as their kids and aren't fit to be parents.

    While I think the rioting was disgusting I can't see the logic in this. When child killers like that wee lad Venables gets thousands spent giving him a new life, *****s still get housed, murderers etc.

    What I am guessing is that he is letting the councils evict them from that area but I'm sure they can just move elsewhere and get a house.

    Absolute vote catching bullshit.If someone is evicted they are therefore homeless and have to be housed.Most likely a b&b at £1000 pounds per week.

    What a ****ing ****er that Cameron is.

    Cameron is a posh idiot, just as thick as the looters themselves, he lives in a different world.
    its hard labour these bastards need and plenty of jail time.

    I'm sure most of these parents are the scum of the earth but English law does not punish relatives, only the person in the dock.

    The thing that done my napper in was some woman from Manchester talking to the BBC news with her son. She was going on about poverty and saying that the police shouldn't have done what they done. A business owner was in the background overheard and said;

    "What's that got to do with destroying businesses up here?"

    "Well the police were over the top"

    "But what has that go to do with..."

    "Do you have children?"

    "But what..."

    "Do you have children?"

    "No."

    "Well jog on then!"

    What a great argument.<doh>

    A B&B at £1000 a week? Where the **** do you live?

    He said;

    "Obviously, that will mean they've got to be housed somewhere else - they'll have to find housing in the private sector - and that will be tougher for them, but they should have thought of that before they started burgling."
