FA cup semi-final is going to be between Liverpool and Everton on April 14 2012.This is going to be a thrilling encounter between the two Merseyside clubs.Everton beat Sunderland by two goals to nil at the Stadium of light last night. The other semi-final is all London club also, the winner between Liverpool and Everton is going to meet the winner between Chelsea and Tottenham in the final. All premiership club in the final.!
Pleased for Merseyside etc - a chance to show how our fans can get along when we invade London etc However I was at Anfield on Sat v Wigan when we were as bad as I've seen for a while, and watched the Ev last night and they played well (unconfirmed reports that Moyes has been photographed smiling (DVD out soon)) As Han Solo once said - "I have a bad feeling about this..." Let's hope we sort our form out prior to the semi...
After I finished work last night I was stuck in the football traffic to be met by the Everton coaches, they noticed my Liverpool top and gave me some jib. So, I returned it only to roll slowly into the car in front. Gave them something to laugh at.
be extra vigilant when opposition managers talk so sweetly of your side. i remember the wigan manager speaking so glowingly of gerrard and anfield and lfc.
This match worries me. If Sunderland had won I'd have been more sure of w win - if only because we are due a win against them!. On the other hand we've played them twice this year and won; we've played them twice at Wembely and won - so on the balance of probabilities they are due a win. But please let it be next season!!!
Everton won with several good individual performances. Fellaini (sp?) was good, as were Distin and Heitinga. However, their passing was sloppy and their build up slow. Jelavic can't hold onto the ball well and Cahill can't pass to save his life. Sunderland were very disappointing.
^^this^^ But dave's got a valid point and thats why i wanted Sunderland. Ok we've beat the blue****e home and away this season but we'd be mugs to take it because of that we're nailed on winners in the semi.
good for everton, good for the city.... I wish them the best of luck of course. thay have a lot o good players and have dnoe a bit better lately and have improved as the season goes on. I hope by april 14 we will have a better form and list to pick from. we miss agger and johnson badly, need to sort the midfield badly and also need to sort out how we pick the guys up top. all in all i am hoping over the next couple of weks we sort things out to gvie them a game!
It's odd how they seem to suffer in the first part of the season. This is the third or fourth year in a row now they've not really come good until after new year. With a smaller squad than many other teams you'd think it'd be the other way round really. Whisper it quietly but I actually quite like old Gollum even though he is a miserable twat
Still no kick off time, Im hopin we know what it is by the time we set off on the Saturday, FA ( F**kin Awful ) Thought they may have considered movin the National to the Sunday or somethin, or maybe the week after
