i've been calling him utter ****e the past couple of years, and i still stand by it.

he gets outbullied and outmuscled by everyone, and beaten in the air by loads. and hes slow as ****.

ferdinand has also been given the run around today. maybe he should spend some more time on the training field as appose to on his twitter account.

Exactly. There's no contradiction there. Had he been claiming City were wrong or underhanded to spend all that money then there would be a contradiction, but you can't deny that City are winning today because they have paid out well over ten times as much as us on transfers since the takeover.

Ferdinand is slow as ****. The injuries have taken their tole and he isn't good enough anymore. It should be Vidic and Jones (Smalling if he's not at RB)

Great reply after I stated the obvious. <applause>

I honestly wonder at times why you constantly have your tongue up other peoples backsides. <whistle>

can't understand why vidic isnt playing either. didnt he play 45 mins international football before the liverpool game? fergie came out and said its what he needed, hes trained well and will be ready for the scousers. a week on, and still no sign. when you think about how hargreaves was always meant to be ready and never was..makes you wonder wtf the medical staff are doing

How are we meant to defend against them with a defender who's below average?

But he's not saying that. He's saying we needed to buy one world class midfielder like Sneijder for around £35 million on order to compete. Hardly billions. Over the past year Chelsea have spent £50 million on Torres, Liverpool £35 million on Carroll and City spent £38 million on Aguero. Spending £30-40 million on a single player is hardly big spending for clubs aspiring to the PL title or even the top four.

I think this will be Evans last ever game at United. Time to get rid.

lol...you'd think Man Utd had never spent money. Remind us all again how much you spent on people like Jones, Ferdinand, Rooney etc?

Get rid of Evans who has played well for most of the season and yet still we have Fletcher in midfield. Seems not to sensible.

To be fair he's been good up until today. He just had a bad day at the office - Vidic, Rio, Evra and many other defenders have all had those.

Less than Chelsea, City and Liverpool <ok>

We wouldn't know. But why don't you tell us, after all, you are a Rangers supporter.

Evans has been great this season, bar today. All defenders have their off days, Evans just waited til we played the best team in the league to do it.

Evans is a good defender but I will admit to feeling nervous whenever I see his name on the teamsheet.

I can understand that view but to his credit he has turned things largely around well, until today!
