Seen elsewhere that Corry Evans has a torn calf muscle and will be out for 2-3 weeks, anyone else heard anything?

Agnew said he had a scan and he's got a slight tear. Should be available in time for the start of season.

I assume it's the injury he picked up against Ferriby and it's just worse than expected. Can't remember where I saw it, but he told someone on Twitter that he wasn't going to play against Winterton because of a calf strain.

Yes he did. I posted it on the Grimsby game thread. Did not think it worthy of starting a new thread as Agnew indeed said it was not serious just needs rest. Agnew also admitted that the few niggles going around are a result of the pre-season so far. Was told yesterday that Rosie and Evans should be ok by the Hartlepool game on the 4th Aug and Dawson and McKenna are back in full training monday.

seems like he was the only enforced change at half-time at Ferriby. hasnt been seen since so would make sense. i did wonder at the time? he will obviously miss the vital pre-season period and presumably have some catching up to do later on. opportunity for cairney and oli, or is he injured yet again also? oli seems to be emerging as another 'more expensive' richie appleby!

Mckenna has an injury as well. Although I expect he'll feature at Rochdale on Saturday as I think it's a strain or something that's just kept him out the last week or so.
