No, not what Paul Gadd goes searching for... Do we have the right to choose to die? If you were seriously ill where you had no quality of life - would you like the right to decide when you die? Could you make that decision for someone (a love one/a member of your family) to assist with their death? Is it right that people can be prosecuted for assisting someone to die? Me, I agree with it - I would like to right to choose if I developed a severe debilitating illness (where I had no quality of life). For family/loved ones - hard to say if I could make the choice to assist them in ending their life (that is a different decision from, say, not putting them on life support etc)
at the moment in my current state of mind i would say that if i was a veg then i wouldn't want to live like that but if i was actually in that state i couldn't guess what i would say. However, i do feel it is important that people can chose if they want to die and that people should be able to help them if they are unable to do so independently.
