Does anyone else (non-Welsh) struggle to warm to this Wales team? Love NI and ROI and support them against anyone but England but just find something really smug about Wales/the fans/Bale/Coleman. Probably Robbie Savage's fault- best part of a million quid a year of taxpayers' money for his stating the obvious.
Gutted, but congratulations to Wales. No one would have given Northern Ireland a prayer of getting through to the last 16 before the tournament so heads can be held high.
Just a guess based on Hansen being on £40k a show on MOTD. You'd like to think Savage is on far less but I doubt it.
Stuart Dallas looked quite good when he wasn't kicking people. Could never lure him away from MASSIVE though.
Well done NI, I felt that we had one player better than yours ...maybe two as I really rate Ramsey. But a typical home countries match, scrappy, fairly poor match...but glad we went through Sorry Hoops, NI and all... Come on you Red Dragons
