For the first time ever i was watching two games at once and they were both crackers. Two goals were about 10-20 seconds apart. Great for the UK, maybe guts over quality does mean something when it most counts. The pictures of MON and Keane at the end were priceless.

It does seem unfair and how come one winner has to play the 'best' third placed team and another one has to play the '4th best' third placed team? Then 2 of the winners have to play 2nd placed teams, we get Iceland (2nd place) and the priced for Italy winning their first two games was to play Spain. I'd have been a bit miffed going into the tournament if I was in group E or F knowing if I won I'd have to play a higher ranked team than if I'd been in groups A, B, C or D.
The system has failed and they need to change it, poor sides have aimed for 3 points. It's great to see NI through but they've been dire if we're honest. And Iceland? ****ing hell. Stories they may be but we aren't seeing the attacking games we've always got at the Euros, thankfully we won't see this in the knockouts cos it's **** or bust. If they just expand, make more groups and keep it top 2
