Should have been sent off early and most certainly gave away a penalty, but got away with both. Cheating chavs as always, but it's a shame because it takes away from a thoroughly impressive performance from them.
Yes Eto'o has cheated and got away with murder today, but more to blame is Webb for not taking action against Eto'o earlier.
First one was a yellow, to be fair. Not a red. Webb bottled it (as most refs do) because it's early in the game and gave nothing. Second one should have been a penalty. Webb was 10 yards away, looking right at it, and ****ed up. Blatant, cynical foul. Not looking at the ball or anywhere near it, just hopped (the give away) a step into Suarez and tripped him up. Bottled it again. Not saying we deserved to win, nor that we played well, but harshly done by the officials again. With regards to the actual game, I thought we played **** without any confidence either. I thought Johnson was horrendous again and bringing Smith on wasn't a good idea. Poor kid was completely out of his depth and his inexperience shown with some decision making. Not his fault. Rodgers shouldn't have brought him on.
anyone reckon Brendan is seeing if Smith is good enough to step up and not have to worry about LB position in jan. think that's how Sterling started off his career thrown in the deep end. wrong game to test him admittedly, but just a thought.
LFc were blown away by faster, fitter and technically better players..... yet... e'tto's goal was a thundering disgrace just like negrado's/ we flogged both games. I am for one confident the tv panel will ban e'too for 3 games for assaulting another player.
You were denied what was probably the clearest penalty so far this season. Absolutely shocking decision from Webb, there's no justification for not giving that and it cost you a point and basically handed Chelsea two.
we have had a couple of shocking decisions this week lol, think we are ****ing used to it now. Brendan will get punished for starting the obvious, yet bent or bias refs **** all. its a farce mate. City and Chelsea are good teams, but we got shafted against both of them by the officiating, not the football.
You could excuse it if there were players obstructing his view or he was far away from the incident but he was right next to them with a clear view of it.
Yeah we couldn't get a foot in this game at all - so to play like that and nearly get a point but for a disgusting coward is something I guess. Need to hit the January sales because our bench to Chelsea's bench is ridiculous
Unbelievable. He could only have been 5ft away from it. I'd like to see his explanation for not giving it.
They sat back a bit in the 2nd half. Our possession was frustrating at times. But I thought we were better for the last 45.
Maureen has commented on the Surez Pen incident and just said that Suarez looked like he'd been shot and should have been booked. What a ****
sadly because of the way Saurez is treated by the media in this country, he will get away with it. like to see some editor have the balls and call him out on it, as its ****ing ridiculous, blatant pen.
Unfortunately, he has no obligation to do so. He'll swan off home on a first class train ticket, after his 3 course meal and complimentary wine at the stadium suite, then look forward to his next pay check. Like like that ****tard linesman from City.
Mourinho just admitted that he sends him out to kick players. Just the player for Wimblesea and Jose Moreallardyce, at home at Stamthug Bridge.
He's knows that if the FA lean on him for his justified comments about Mason that Suarez will probably be banned.
