    Just watching it and one their topics that came up was us and Stoke. Had 1 minute 30 to talk about if we'd stay in our positions at the end of the season. As you can imagine they said no, but they were quick to praise us saying we're playing great football and what a great job Pardew has done and praised: Krul, Taylor, Colo, Tiote, Cabaye (Said could be buy of the season), Guiterrez. Said we were lacking goals but still managed to praise Ba and Best's start to the season....we're finally getting the recognition we deserve!

    I think that's as fair as we could hope for; I don't think anyone expects us to stay in this position, but I know everyone would love if we continued winning matches against the teams we have been playing so far. We're showing our quality against the teams we should be beating, and that's something that was missing at points last season.

    why do we need recognition, the more people underestimate us the better, we need to be the underdogs becuase if were expected to achieve then we wont. and i hope merson predicts us to lose every match aswell, love proving him wrong.

    Fair reflection of us really.

    Think we deserve to be where we are and believe we will finish way higher than anybody expects us.

    It has been awfully quiet for a while... plus with Guti's contract extension and possibly Colo, things are looking, dare I say it? Positive <yikes>

    Couldn't of put it better myself!

    But its always happened though, the moment when things start going our way in terms of results and performances... 'he' always comes along to spoil the party.

    Last season was very topsy turvy in terms of results though, there was always something ruining the season in one way or another <laugh>

    I'm just going to enjoy it while I can! And stuff that niggly annoying feeling in the back of my mind!!

    I actually like Mark Chapman and Steve Bunce. They're not idiots like the rest of them.

    Anyone ever watched that Between the Lines? Saw it on Monday and one of the journo's on it said something like: " Knowing the Newcastle fans they'll be getting carried away" WTF!? If they listened to us normal fans they'd know we aren't getting carried away. We know football better than most and understand we won't finish top 4, but we're there because of hard work and good results. And we deserve it!
