I'm in two minds whether i want this England team to qualify for the World Cup. I could do without getting annoyed over this shambles of a team, but I don't enjoy the competitions without my team being there. And it wouldn't be the same without a team to support.
Same old ****e blurb to follow about a good point away at a hard place to go against a big physical well organised team but c'mon, that was absolute dogmess. Not one bright point to take from that.
If we get put in the classic 'group of death' I bet we won't qualify into the knockout rounds. If you look at the difference from 2003 to 2013, we're miles off. This country just doesn't bring talent through like it should.
If the mighty Tigers had played like that tonight against Ukraine I wouldn't have been less pissed about it. You'd think the opposition in Yellow would be a huge fooking clue that they're no the players you should be passing to ffs. Walker, reminded me of Waddle, especially in regards to me shouting at the tele about how fooking useless he is. Ended by the missus asking me why I watch something that annoys me so much. She doesn't understand!
She doesn't understand you, you don't understand her. You wouldn't be normal if you did! Chuck her a quilt & plug the fan in!! Those 28 years must of flown by.
I was quite proud of that one. I text my mate and said, "check out Chris DIfford at full-back". Then I realised I'd got the wrong bloke. My blushes were spared when he replied saying he'd never heard of The Diff. Bastard.
A truely awful game to watch but we got the result we wanted. 0-0 and 2 wembley wins required. Failure to do that will mean that the only Brazilian the wags get will be by hot wax and flypaper.
I'm sticking my neck out here. We're through. I noticed Italy and Netherlands are actually there now. As are Argentina.
Keep your eyes on our Tom Huddlestone on MOTD. When Gerrard and Lampard retire from England duty next summer Tom H. should be a shoe in for an England call up if not before. imo.
Unfortunately, I doubt Woy will look much further than Chamioins League contending clubs for the teams he will play at the finals ... the fact that hw was 'surprised' by the negative reaction to our point just about sums him up for me ... he will see his 'goal' as getting out of the group stages and will be aiming to acheive exactly that ... One bright spark from last night's game .......... Konoplianka.
I really hate it when they pick players based on club rather than form. It's clear to see that they do. Out of the 23 players that were picked for these games, 5 of them weren't playing for 'big clubs' - Baines, Jagielka and Barkley (Everton), Lambert (Southampton) and Ruddy (Norwich). I left out Forster at Celtic because technically they are a 'big' club. Smalling got called up for playing 0 minutes of league football. As did Ashley Young (which was obvious to see). What the hell?
